A senior government official said that mining leases which have been operational for over 180 days in the year of reporting would be qualified for Star Rating.

A temporary 'Star Rating' will be honored to the mining lease after due accommodation of their practices in view of SDF and the affirmation of star rating would be given upon the due check in the following assessment by Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM), the authority said.
