World One Tower

WorldOne is a tall residential skyscraper under construction in Mumbai. It is located in Lower Parel on 17.5-acre site of the defunct Shrinivas Mill. It is being built at an estimated cost of over US$321 million. Construction is expected to be completed in 2018 to become the tallest building in India. it has 117 stories and 440 meters in height. It will be the world’s tallest purely residential structure. It is ideal to meet the growing demand for luxury residences in India. It will feature swimming pools, gyms, a health club and a cricket pitch.

It will have generously sized reception rooms, luxurious bedroom suites and beautiful bathrooms.

Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA)

NMIA is one of the biggest greenfield airport projects in the world which is expected to handle 10 million passengers annually. Pre-development works for the NMIA will begin soon. Things are progressing as expected. City and Industrial Development Corporation (Cidco), is the organization behind development. it will have to divert the nearby Ulwe River, flattening of hills, levelling ground and clearing green patches. It will cover 11.6 square kilometres, two parallel runways and a terminal building.

Mega business district for Mumbai

Mumbai is planning to set up another business district known as the GVK Sky city, the area surrounding the swanky new T2 terminal in Sahar and built by the GVK group's Mumbai Airport International Ltd. It will have 20 million sq. ft. of commercial space. It will have hotels, three million sq. ft. of retail area, office blocks and conventions on 200 acres of airport-owned land and infrastructure, amenities, sidewalks, arterial roads, a metro line and a recreation area. The projected investment in GVK Sky City will be over Rs. 12,000 crores.  It will change the real estate landscape of the area by creating a vibrant 24x7 business and leisure hub and global convention and hospitality destination.

NDMC to Build 8-Storeyed Car Parking

North Delhi Municipal Corporation will construct 8-storey car parking (4261 sq metres) near Karol Bagh Metro station in Delhi funded by The Delhi Development Authority. It has an estimated cost of Rs 92.34 crore. it will help in measures as the city is Facing the crisis of shrinking parking space and growing number of vehicles. The multilevel car parking is meant for 900 cars at Rajender Nagar near Karol Bagh metro station. The car parking would have three underground floors.

Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board is planning water supply distribution network.

The Water & Effluent Treatment Business of Larsen & Toubro has been awarded the Water Supply Order. It will provide water supply distribution network to peripheral circles and includes construction of 650 KM Pipeline Network, 20 Water Storage Reservoirs and other associated works. HMWS&SB to entrust the work of 'Water supply distribution network project for the peripheral circles of GHMC- Construction of RCC Service Reservoirs and Providing Inlet, Outlet and Distribution network in Alwal, Kapra, Uppal and Ramachandrapuram Circles The State Government, has accorded administrative sanction for the proposal of 'Water Supply Distribution Network Project for the Peripheral Circles of GHMC' at an estimated amount of Rs.1900 Crores.

 City Municipal Council of Dandeli Karnataka is planning municipal solid waste management project spread over 4.28 acres with a Capacity of 25 TPD at a Cost of Rs. 42.65 million at Badarshirgur Village, Dist. Uttara Kannada.

Bhabha Atomic Research Centre plans to construct pre-engineered buildings in Karnataka at Ullarthi Challakere, Dist. Chitradurga

The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 110 million.

Government of Kerala to construct fishing harbour at Kizhoor Beach in Kasaragod

Kemin Industries South Asia is planning satellite labs in Andhra Pradesh for testing animal feed

These labs would be connected to the laboratory set up at Chennai with an investment of Rs. 40 million. These would help aqua farmers to identify the problems in the shrimp ponds and provide necessary solutions.

 Airports Authority of India is planning an extension of the runway in dist. Dibrugarh, Assam.

It will envisage the extension of the runway from 05/23 of 1836 m x 60 to 2407 m x 300 dimensions apart from construction of isolation bay, link taxiway and other allied works. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 598.5 million. The project is awaiting environmental clearance. The total area of the existing airport is 253.959 acres. The existing terminal building covers 10536 sq metres plinth area. The scope of the extension work includes civil works, electrical works, CNS works. it will have a provision of perimeter road, rerouting and construction of 5m wide link road to Nepalipatti, and a drainage system.
