The list of massive infra projects being taken by Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (
In order to sustain and ensure growth and development MMRDA has taken up transport infra projects in Mumbai region.
The projects which are worthy of mention are:
22km-long Mumbai Trans Harbour Link,
Construction of 18.5-km-long Dahisar to DN Nagar Metro-2A corridor ,
16.5km-long Andheri East to Dahisar East Metro-7 corridor,
33.5 km-long Colaba-Bandra-SEEPZ Metro-3 corridor,
23.5km-long DN Nagar to Mandale Metro-2B,
32km-long Wadala-Ghatkopar-Thane-Kasarvadavli Metro-4 corridors.
14.5km Swami Samarth Nagar JVLR-SEEPZ-Vikhroli Metro-6 corridors,
13 km-long Dahisar East to Mira-Bhainder Metro line-
9, 24km-long Thane-Bhiwandi-Kalyan Metro-5,
Monorail Phase-II, and development of bridges, flyovers roads, creek bridges, development of water resources, and several urban development projects in the region.
The MMRDA also envisages infra development work at Bandra-Kurla Complex to improve its connectivity and infrastructure.
The CM approved Rs. 6,976.50 crore budget for the year 2017-18 presented by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA). It highlights the investment plan of MMRDA for various infrastructure projects undertaken by the agency.
